Hartley Dyke Farm select Cold Service for their expertise

Cold Service were selected to supply, design and install the refrigeration cases and associated plant for Hartley Dyke Farm Shop which opened its doors to the public for the first time on the 17th October 2014.
Cold Service Ltd were selected for their expertise in the supply design and installation of the refrigeration cases and associated plant, while also providing advice when selecting the most appropriate cases.
The shop contains multi section L-shape serve overs for the butchery and also the delicatessen which has a self serve corner section. These provide staff with a brilliant work surface as well as displaying produce for customers to view. The Bakery counter has one ambient section for cakes and pastries with the other chilled for deserts and cream cakes.
The three shop floor display cases maximise display area which helps to make best use of shop floor space. All of the cases and counters supplied were manufactured by Pastorkalt in grey at the customers request to fit in with the shop design and colour.
A central island in keeping with the shop design has been fabricated to house three Iarp frozen display cabinets.
When selecting the refrigeration plant Cold Service considered:
  • Noise level
  • Energy Efficiency
  • Future Service & Maintenance
With this in mind low noise condensing units were selected. Including the use of
digital scroll technology providing variable cooling capacity on demand to
the butchery & delicatessen counters.
